Reach out and touch someone!

After 20 years of #enterprise #sales #experience, I am more convinced than ever that the 1st outreach & the 1st interaction with a prospect is the MOST important.

So that's why I'm perplexed when I think of the multi-industry #sales strategy to push that #firstcontact to an #SDR or a #BDR.

David Brock recently published a post on Membrain where he asked "Are we setting our current crops of SDR’s up for failure?" (link)

There's lots of talk on LinkedIn about the value of SDRs and BDRs - so my question is this:

Is it our IMPLEMENTATION of the SDR/BDR model which is flawed - or is it the actual strategy of using SDRs/BDRs for initial outreach flawed?
