Question about modern business: Is it really necessary to invest in brick & mortar HQs and regional office buildings in 2017? I mean I understand the need for manufacturing facilities - you can't build microprocessors in your garden - but how about sales and marketing and admin positions?
I literally work with people DAILY who I have not physically been in the same room with for over four years. Some of the people I work with - who provide me amazing value and to whom I HOPE I provide value as well - I have never met these people in person. And while I work at a startup (ZynBit) this is little different from what it was like at a Fortune 500 company - where I managed a national sales team who I rarely saw in person.
Interested in what you think.
